THE DEIGHTON DOSSIER

The online resource about writer Len Deighton

ABOUT THIS SITE

The Deighton Dossier is run by me, Rob Mallows.

I've been a fan of Len Deighton's stories since I received for Christmas a Game, Set & Match box set. Up to then I'd never heard of Deighton or his books. Since then, I've been hooked and have read all his works.

In recent years Deighton's profile in the UK and globally has diminished as he enjoys retirement. His reluctance to speak to the media in recent years has contributed to this, although his 80th birthday in 2009 and the reissuing of all his novels that year did highlight his place in the UK's literary pantheon.

In comparison with the huge number of Ian Fleming and John Le Carré sites, there was not - until this site - a usable online resource for fans of Deighton's work. That's why the Deighton Dossier exists. The site has grown over time and now provides a one-stop-shop for all things Deighton, complemented by the separate Deighton Dossier Blog hosted elsewhere.

The website has been built by me using Rapidweaver website software and Stacks Foundation elements.

You can get in touch with the Dossier via deightondossier AT icloud DOT com or via social media.
